Phase II sugar and yeast downstream processing project signed
· Company Updates
According to public reporting by Xinhua, Ronghe Foods completed the signing of its Phase II 50,000-metric-ton-per-year sugar and yeast downstream processing project on August 22, 2024. The project links sugar production with yeast downstream processing and marks an important step in value-chain extension.
The report indicates that Phase II will strengthen raw material security and yeast downstream processing capability. For a yeast manufacturer, stable raw material access and downstream processing capacity directly support scalable supply of dry yeast, yeast extract and yeast-derived applications.
The project is expected to improve raw material security, extend the yeast value chain and increase the share of higher-value products. As it progresses, Ronghe can build stronger coordination across sugar processing, fermentation manufacturing and downstream processing.
For customers, Phase II supports long-term capability in stable supply, product portfolio development, quality traceability and service across multiple applications.
